One City, One Book
Where Can You Get the Book?
Copies of the book will also be distributed at various public locations around the city—including laundromats, dentists’ offices, and hair & nail salons.
Through this unconventional distribution program, we hope to reach people who might not otherwise participate in the program.
Bestseller's Café in Medford has also stocked up on supplies and is supplying the MATV copies at a discount. Be sure to check out this local area bookstore, also a sponsor to our program!
Of course, you can also purchase the book from an online retailer.
If you buy your own copy, we encourage you to pass it on to a friend or neighbor, and help spread the community reading experience!
Book “finders” are encouraged to read the book, and then pass it on, or bring it back to the original location.
The Malden Public Library has stocked up on supplies of the
Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian
for circulation in the Malden community. Stop by the library to get a copy.
You can also reserve the book online through the library's database. Books can be checked out for a 3-week period.
