Interfaith Worship Service

People of all faiths and no faith are welcome to attend a special service from the First Parish of Malden with Reverend Aisha Ansano, offered hybrid – both online and in-person.

The service will explore the themes of this year’s Malden Reads book selection, “They Called Us Enemy,” a graphic memoir by George Takei. The service will include related readings, a children’s message, music and a sermon that draws from the book’s themes. Participants that come in-person have the option to stay for the book discussion at noon. The book discussion is offered in-person only. No need to register in advance to attend the service in-person.

First Parish of Malden have been longtime collaborators with Malden Reads, engaging with the book selection’s themes and inviting their congregation and larger Malden community to participate.
