Poetry from Around the World

Hear poetry in world languages read by local residents (with English translation).

The Chinese Culture Connection and Malden Reads are planning for another “Poetry from Around the World” event. Our poetry program last year was so successful that we are planning a second event for 2023!

Last year, we had 11 local participants representing many countries with their native languages, including Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Italian, and more. (Poems were also shared in English). 

The event will be held on April 3 at 8:00 p.m. The event will be held on Zoom so that more people from near and far will be able to participate.
